C7としてよく知られているSS7は、コール制御のために使われるキャリア側のシグナリングプロトコル (Signaling Protocol) で、IN (Intelligent Network) と AIN(Advanced IN) サービスを提供します。COSMOBRIDGEの IDS-C7は CBJs (Cosmobridge Japan Series) 中で SS7 (Signaling System #7) のコール信号制御信号を処理する部分を担当します。
IDS-C7は CBJsサーバと連動し、前/後払いカードサービスを含め各種サービスのご提供が可能です。また、VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) ゲートウェイとプロトコルコンバータで構成することが可能です。
